How cool! He sounds great Judi. I had the volume up and it almost blew me out of my chair. LOL

See, poeple either love them or hate them! I was going to surprise everyone with this guy playing the pipes, but people's reactions were so mixed...I decided that was out, and asked Alex & Chris, who love the idea. Also, there's something to be said for the pleasures of anticipation...

My mom is pretty great and knows me well. Chris and I are really looking forward to it.

I don't think there is an instrument more emotional, evocative...capable of expressing human experience in an aural sense, of capturing a moment - and if in a church, then combining the most spiritual.

What a beautiful expression.

I think the sound of the pipes evokes so many emotions! I still remember the first time I heard them as a 5 year old at the Highland games.

Oh, btw, here are your interview questions. Have fun!

1. Other than family members, who has had a major impact on forming who you are today?
2. You have done a lot so far in your life. What are some things that you want to do but haven’t done yet?
3. You have four kids, which makes for tons of wonderful memories. There are the obvious ones such as births, graduations, and marriages, but for each child, name a random memory, such as a field trip or just a funny moment.
4. Where have you lived other than Dallas?
5. What is the best thing that happened to you in 2006?
