post-Thanksgiving reveries...

Tomorrow it's back to work for Chris and me, back to school for Mike, but this evening A, Christo, Mike and I ate Thanksgiving leftovers in my kitchen, and then we sat around in the living room reminiscing about holidays until it was time to drive Mike to the airport. I drove, but A and Chris came along to see him off, too. I always love having the kids come home, and as an added bonus I got them to put up the tree...no small task and a torch I am quite happy to pass on to the next generation. It still needs to be decorated, of course, but I have a feeling if I play my cards right, I can get the X-man to help me with that...

What a time it is when we can share in the special moments of of holiday celebrations. I love the decorating of the tree but it has lost alot of it's magic since I have been doing it alone.
Seems time has passed me by for my family to help with the tree.
Hubster isn't a fan not now, not ever. Kinda makes me pissy but doesn't do me any good...I have found myself thses last few years wondering -where is the romace? I always thought it would be something we would share in our old age...NOT!
Your tree is beautiful with the white lights.....mine is white light with gold and silver bows and bobbles.
Smiling...Love TJ
